Start-Up LaunchPad

For the last three years, the EiG LaunchPad has been a platform for innovative start-ups to pitch their ideas to a panel of experts, investors and to the room full of the EiG high-level attendees.

We’re very excited to announce that the Launch Pad this year will be supported by Seedcamp, an early-stage micro seed investment fund and mentoring programme that was created to jumpstart the entrepreneurial community in Europe by connecting next generation developers and entrepreneurs with over 1200 mentors from a top-tier network of company builders; including seed investors, serial entrepreneurs, product experts, HR and PR specialists, marketers, lawyers, recruiters, journalists and venture capitalists. Up to five start-ups every year are selected from a number of applicants to participate at the EiG LaunchPad and to pitch their propositions, get quizzed on their products and be subject to the expert panel’s and industry’s vote.

2011 start-ups are:

Crowdpark – a social betting Facebook application utilising virtual currency, represented by Christoph Jenke, CEO
Multigaming Network – B2C affiliation scheme, represented by Pietro di Remigis, CEO
Tajitsu Industries – predictive customer data analysis software, represented by Klas Moberg, CEO
TopHatApps – a mobile gamers and app developers community, represented by David Wainwright, CEO
